The backup plan for your backup plan

I once saw a clip of a skydiver free falling.

He attempted to open his chute, but something went wrong.
He was sent into a spin.
The guy filming couldn’t help him, the spin was too violent.

Luckily, the guy who was in trouble had a knife.

He tried to cut the tangled straps that were causing the death spin.
But the knife got caught and flew from his grip.

At this point you think, well, he’s pretty much screwed.

But get this.
He had a second knife.
He whipped it out and proceeded to cut the straps.
He then deployed his reserve chute — and calmly floated down to earth.

A SECOND KNIFE.
Who does that?
Srsly?

But I tell you this, I admire the guy.
He had a plan b.
Which most of us consider.

But he also had a plan c.
Which many of us don’t consider.

So tell me, whats your plan c?
Because hey, you never know, you know.
